CP can be spent before an action to increase its power and is therefore of great importance during combat. By doing this you will gain a point of concentration (CP). Fortunately the personality of our divine warriors and the full dubbing of the scenes (prefer Japanese) push us to want to know more! Thus you will pass from one city to another to face the Astrae, protective creatures, in order to be able to summon them in combat while meeting from time to time mysterious individuals seeming to be at the origin of the chaos settling in Orcanon. The scenario will make you visit the 5 cities of the game – one per race – as well as some twenty dungeons in order to go back to the source of Orcanon’s problems. You will therefore take control of the 333rd generation of Demi-Gods when they only have three months to live. Eight in number, they are men and women of all races who are entrusted with great powers at the cost, however, of a life expectancy reduced to three years. To face these threats, the Goddess Yuno, guardian of Hamonia, can count on the Demi-Gods. Unfortunately this fragile balance is disturbed by Interference, creatures ravaging everything in their path, and dissidents rejecting Harmony. It is thanks to it, and to the ingestion of fruits called “Harmelons”, that the different races coexist smoothly. The world of Orcanon is based on Harmony. The game is released on September 30 in digital format on all platforms. However, the presence of Kazushige Nojima (FFX, FF VII Remake) in the screenplay and Hitoshi Sakimoto (FF XII, Vagrant Story) in the soundtrack as well as the desire to offer a tribute to the JRPGs from before are sufficient reasons for s’ interest and more if affinities …Īstria Ascending is developed by Artisan Studios (Super Neptunia RPG) and edited by Dear Villagers (ScourgeBringer, Edge of Eternity, ReCompile…).
